Digital Distribution of Games - Steam, On Demand, Sony Marketplace, Apple iTunes, etc. Games are no longer limited to being distributed physically. The trend is moving more towards downloading games. Even console games are able to play downloadable content.

OnLive Videogame Service - Streaming game service that allows user to play any pc game on any computer, including Mac. (See Below) Essentially, you're actions are playing on a computer somewhere else, and that is being sent to your computer or TV. Move over cloud computing, it's Cloud Gaming.

Portable Gaming - Portable gaming has been around since the Game and Watch series. But we're moving more towards having a ubiquitous portable console that is more like a media player and console.  Although mobile phone gaming is not new, the trend is leaning more towards having a cell phone become an all in one device: gaming, media player, phone, gps system, and ultimately mini computer.  

Home Consoles - The home game console is becoming more like a home entertainment hub providing more than just gaming. For instance the Playstation 3, not only plays videogames but also Blu-Ray movies and Netflix streaming.
